This scroll was created by an artist in Beijing during the Paralympics in 2008. He was presented with Lindsey's name, and pronunciation. He consulted of book of more than 1000 pages containing all of the Chinese characters, and chose the two that matched "Lind" and "Sey". We then showed it to a friend, Julie Upton-Wang of Massachusetts but currently an English/Chinese teacher at the American School in Beijing, and she translated them back to english: In chinese, Lindsey means "Jade Competitor". How fitting is that?

And for some fantastic food, when you visit the Great Wall at Mu Tian Yu, be sure to dine at the Schoolhouse at MuTianYu-
gourmet western cooking and an artisan glass blowing shop with some beautiful products.
